How to Find Your Meta Business Account ID

On Desktop (Recommended Method)

  1. Visit business.facebook.com and log in with your Facebook credentials.

  2. At the top of the left-hand sidebar, select your business from the dropdown menu.

  3. At the bottom of the left-hand sidebar, click on Settings (gear icon).

  4. AT THE TOP OF THE LEFT-HAND expanded menu, click on Business Info.

  5. Your Business PORTFOLIO ID/BUSINESS MANAGER ID will be displayed under your business name. It's a 15- or 16-digit number.

  6. Copy this number and share it with your advertising agency

PRO-TIP: You can also find your THIS ID in YOUR URL. When you're on the Business Info page, look at the browser's address bar. The number following business_id= is your Business Manager ID.

On Mobile (Using Meta Business Suite App)

  1. Open the Meta Business Suite app on your mobile device. If you don't have it, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Log in with your Facebook credentials.

  3. Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) to open the navigation menu.

  4. Select Settings.

  5. Tap on Business Info.

  6. Your Business PORTFOLIO ID will be displayed under your business name

✅ Why This ID Matters

Your Meta Business Manager ID is a unique identifier for your business account. It's essential for:

  • Allowing partners or agencies to request access to your business assets.

  • Integrating with third-party tools and services.

  • Verifying your business with Meta.

Remember: This ID is different from your Facebook Page ID or Ad Account ID

Granting Advertiser Access

Before You Start

Make sure:

  • You’re logged into your Facebook account.

  • You have admin access to your Meta Business Manager.

  • You have the Business ID of the advertiser/agency you're working with (they should provide this to you).

👣 Step-by-Step: Grant Your Advertiser Access

✅ Option 1: You Add Them

🔗 Go to Meta Business Settings

  1. Visit: https://business.facebook.com/settings

  2. In the left sidebar, click “Users” > “Partners”

  3. Click the “Add” button

🧾 Enter Their Business ID

  1. Paste the Business ID your advertiser gave you

  2. Click Next

📦 Choose What to Share

  1. You’ll now choose which assets to share:

    • Facebook Page: Toggle on "Manage campaigns"

    • Ad Account: Toggle on "Create and manage ads"

    • (Optional: Instagram, Pixel, Catalog if needed)

  2. Click Save Changes

✔️ Your advertiser now has access!

✅ Option 2: They Request Access (you just approve)

If your advertiser sends you a request to access your Page or Ad Account, you’ll get a notification in your Meta Business Manager.

To Approve It:

  1. Go to https://business.facebook.com/settings/requests

  2. You’ll see the pending request

  3. Click Approve

  • Facebook Page: "Manage campaigns"

  • Ad Account: "Create and manage ads"
